MuleSoft Lead DeveloperLocation: Remote (EST preferred)Key ResponsibilitiesLead integration strategy and execution: Design and deliver scalable, reusable MuleSoft APIs and integrations while ensuring alignment with business needs and technical standards.Collaborate at all levels: Partner with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders (including client executives) to gather integration requirements and clearly communicate implementation strategies.Hands-on leadership: While not a full-time developer role, be capable of jumping into the code and logs when necessary to troubleshoot issues and guide solutions.Solution design and triage: Analyze integration problems at a high level, identify root causes, and define effective solutions. Be able to explain the how and why behind your approach.Establish best practices: Define and enforce MuleSoft development best practices, coding standards, and integration patterns.Manage full API lifecycle: Oversee design, development, deployment, monitoring, and versioning of APIs and integrations.Mentor and guide developers: Provide technical leadership through code reviews, training, and coaching, ensuring quality and knowledge sharing.Ensure security and compliance: Adhere to data privacy standards and corporate governance policies.Engage in Agile delivery: Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of integration development experience, including 5+ years in MuleSoft .MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or 2) and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect preferred .Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, RAML, JSON, XML, and SOAP.Hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave.Skilled at log analysis and troubleshooting, with the ability to pinpoint issues and design solutions quickly.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins) and DevOps practices.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Experience integrating with Salesforce and related ecosystems is strongly preferred.Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to work directly with senior stakeholders.What We're Looking ForThis is a leadership role with a hands-on edge .
