⚡ Senior Software Engineer, AI focused (Full Stack, 5+ YoE - Typescript)✨ Chicago-based Payments Start-up💲 $160,000 - $210,000 Base + Equity + Full BenefitsA recently funded Series A fintech start-up based in Chicago is looking to hire a senior software engineer (full stack & AI-focused) to help build their AI-powered SaaS platform for payments and business management. They are looking to disrupt the $100B+ rental industry by building an end-to-end product that will help businesses improve and facilitate their payments, operations, marketing and accounting processes.This role would allow you to have a great impact on the company by making business-minded decisions and providing you with full ownership of the products and features you will be building. You will report directly to the CTO and will be part of a sociable team, focused on collaboration. The ideal candidate is someone willing to work hybrid, 3 days a week in Chicago, with strong AI or ML experience and previous success in an early-stage start-up environment.Responsibilities: Build, design and develop new products and features from the ground upBring AI agents to market and own projects such as pricing recommendationsCollaborate within the engineering team to produce and deliver the right solutionsHave a user-centric mindset, looking for constant feedback from clients and reflecting that into the productsMake daily business-minded decisions, impacting the architecture and integrations to improve delivery and functionalityConstantly optimize a fast-moving process that will consistently be iterated and developedRequirements: 5+ years of software engineering experience in a full stack positionStrong experience with TypescriptAI or ML experience (or a Maths background)Previous experience at an early-stage start-upExperience with payments and accounting technology is strongly preferredActively using AI tools to work quicker and experience integrating AI into product workflowsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcited to gain ownership over a product and looking to have a strong impact on the companyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, focused on rapid growth and adaptability to changeWhy Apply?
