Sunday 10:30pm - 7:30am Monday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am Pay: $30-$35 hr Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Department: Operations Position Overview: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, overhauling and repairing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure safety policies, housekeeping rules and guidelines, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followedInterpret blueprints and schematics when working on machinesInstall, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipmentInspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and vacuum systemsAdjust machinery and repair or replace defective partsOperate machine tools such as welders, lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineryClean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work on machineryAssemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipmentPerform preventative maintenanceComplete all paperwork as requiredOther duties as assigned Position Requirements:High school graduate or equivalent requiredMechanical and equipment experience in an industrial environment preferredStrong knowledge of health and safety legislationExperience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery and equipmentExperience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specificationsGood written and verbal communication skillsOvertime may be required Benefits:Health, Dental and Vision insurance optionsLife insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offEmployee assistance programEmployee Referral programTuition reimbursement Shift: 8-hour shift Work Location: In person, Company does not provide relocation assistance.
