Our client is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment and can help keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. From operating heavy equipment to reading construction prints and supporting field crews, your work will directly contribute to expanding and maintaining critical communication networks.Responsibilities include:Perform manual labor tasks related to telecommunications construction projectsAssist with installation and removal of telecommunications equipmentSupport field crews to maintain efficient workflow and project completionComplete required documentation including Daily Progress Reports, inspections, safety forms, and timecardsProvide accurate as-built prints, photos, and closeout documentationMaintain clean, organized vehicles, tools, equipment, and job sitesLoad, unload, haul, and hoist materials and equipmentOperate bucket trucks, trenchers, vibratory plows, digger derricks, dump trucks, backhoes, and other heavy equipmentClimb utility poles and operate aerial lift devicesInstall support strand, conduits, handholes, manholes, fiber, copper cable, and innerductPull cable in aerial and underground environmentsPerform excavation and restoration work as neededAccess manholes, tunnels, and confined spaces while following safety proceduresLocate underground utilities and existing facilities accuratelyPerform traffic control duties within work zonesRead and interpret construction work prints and diagramsAssist with setting poles and framing structuresTroubleshoot and repair telecommunications infrastructure issuesCommunicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, customers, and the publicAct as crew leader when needed and mentor less experienced team membersFollow all safety procedures and incident reporting requirementsTravel as required and participate in on-call rotationsRequirements and Qualifications:Valid CDL-A license requiredAbility to maintain a DOT medical card4+ years of telecom/fiber construction experience; aerial and underground; jigging and lashing strandActive climbing experience; Buck Squeeze requiredMust pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug testingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable working indoors, outdoors, at elevated heights, and in confined spacesAbility to lift and move equipment weighing 75+ poundsMust be available to work Monday–Friday, starting at 6:30 AM, averaging 40–55 hours per weekAbout the Hiring Company:Our client is a telecommunications construction and infrastructure company focused on delivering high-quality fiber and copper network solutions.
