We are looking for a nurturing and dependable caregiver for our son, who will be 12 weeks old as I transition back to work in May. This is an ideal summer position for a college student, as we have a daycare spot secured for late August/early September.While the daytime role is seasonal, we are looking to build an ongoing relationship with a sitter who can become a familiar face for our family for occasional evening and weekend help once he starts daycare. This role is flexible as my mother in law is nearby and could cover partial days if needed. Key Responsibilities• Primary Care: Bottle feeding, diapering, and supporting a consistent nap routine. Occasionally letting dog in and out of house. • Infant Engagement: Focusing on age-appropriate milestones like tummy time, sensory play, and neighborhood walks.• Daily Maintenance: Keeping the nursery tidy and managing bottle prep/ cleanup. • Work-from-Home Environment: Both parents work from home; we need someone comfortable navigating the house while we are in our respective workspaces. While baby is sleeping you are free to watch tv / phone / relax until he wakes up. Requirements & Qualifications• Infant Expertise: Significant experience caring for newborns and infants under 6 months.• Reliability: Punctuality is essential as we balance full-time remote work schedules.• Safety: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.• Pet Friendly: Must be comfortable with a dog in the home.• Logistics: Non-smoker with reliable transportation.
