Job Description Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist (Temporary – Through 9/30)Location: Washington, DCSchedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMAssignment Duration: Through September 30Position Overview:We are seeking a highly professional Administrative Support Specialist to support a DC Government Agency. This position works in a court environment and requires regular interaction with judges, court personnel, and members of the public. Professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills are essential.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative and clerical support within a court settingAssist with data entry and preparation of reportsType and format correspondence and official documentsAnswer and direct incoming phone callsGreet and assist visitors and members of the publicPerform general clerical duties, including filing and document managementSort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mailMaintain office supply inventory and coordinate reordering as neededQualifications:Prior administrative or clerical experience (court or government experience preferred)Highly professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with judges and court staffStrong customer service and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Information:This is a full-time, temporary assignment scheduled through September 30. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a structured, professional court environment.Must be a US Citizen, Background Check required
