Feature Function Owner (Automotive)

Job Title: Feature Function OwnerLocation: Novi, Michigan (Onsite)Key Responsibilities:Own end-to-end delivery of assigned vehicle features from concept to productionDefine and manage functional and non-functional requirementsCoordinate across software, hardware, and integration teamsDrive requirements decomposition, interface definition, and traceabilitySupport validation activities (MIL, SIL, HIL, vehicle testing)Lead DFMEA, risk assessments, and issue resolutionEnsure feature performance, safety, quality, cost, and timeline targetsAct as the technical point of contact for assigned featuresSupport continuous improvement and engineering best practicesRequired Qualifications:Experience in automotive systems engineering or feature ownershipStrong understanding of EV systems (BMS, thermal, energy management, 12V systems)Experience with requirements management and system integrationExposure to validation methods (MIL/SIL/HIL)Knowledge of DFMEA and risk analysisBachelor’s degree in Engineering
