5th HQ - Job DescriptionJob Title: Industrial Chemist (2nd Shift) Location: Davie, FL Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:15 PM – 12:45 AMPosition Summary:We are seeking a motivated Industrial Chemist to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience working in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for performing chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Evaluate the chemical and physical properties of various substances using analytical techniquesPerform routine chemical analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in compliance with GMP standardsFollow pre-established protocols and SOPs to carry out lab functions accuratelyAudit raw data, results, and laboratory documentation for accuracy and completenessCalculate, interpret, and review test results; prepare reports and maintain detailed lab notebooksConduct Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations per SOPs to ensure data integrityOperate, maintain, calibrate, and qualify laboratory instruments in assigned areasAssist with method development and protocol execution with minimal supervisionAdhere to all laboratory safety protocols and company policiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field1–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or analytical lab settingBilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, and IRSolid understanding of GMP regulations and quality systems
