Industrial Lead ElectricianThe Lead Industrial Electrician will undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This job involves installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances.This position is based out of Lakeland, FL area.Essential functions include following safe workplace practices, reading and interpreting schematic drawings, estimating materials and time, installing and maintaining electrical systems, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, maintaining documentation, training electricians, and upholding food safety certification principles.The working environment includes indoor and outdoor settings, exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous conditions, loud sounds, bright or inadequate lighting, and contaminants.Competencies required include excellent critical thinking, problem-solving skills, knowledge of tools and instruments, a positive and motivated attitude, and thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations.Supervisory responsibilities include providing expertise and training for electricians, with no direct supervision.Qualifications include 4+ years of relevant electrical experience, experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems, knowledge of electrical and hand tools, and an associate's degree in Industrial Electrical Technology or similar field.Physical demands include moving materials up to 50 pounds, using small tools, traveling, ascending/descending ladders, understanding work instructions, communicating effectively, distinguishing wires by color, perceiving depth, and working in cramped spaces.Equal Opportunity Employer.
