This multi-faceted position involves performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of construction, agricultural, and forestry equipment, as well as trucks and trailers. Work will be conducted at customer job sites and our company shop. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, fleet maintenance, and major repairs.Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles including light pickups, semis, compactors, large excavators, and loaders.- Travel to customer job sites to provide on-location repair services.- Work alongside other technicians on larger repair projects.- Maintain a professional and positive attitude towards customers, ensuring excellent customer relations.- Utilize personal tools for repairs; specialty and larger tools provided by the company.Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair.- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical diagnostics.- Must possess own tools for repair work.- Valid Driver's License preferred.- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.- Good customer service skills.Benefits:- 401(k) and 401(k) matching- Dental, Health, and Vision insurance- Life insurance- Flexible schedule- Paid time off- Retirement planExperience:- Mechanical knowledge: 3-5 years (Preferred)Work Location:Primarily on the road at customer sites.
