Payroll Associate-Entry Level
Job Summary:The Associate Payroll Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily timekeeping and payroll operations by ensuring accurate employee attendance and work-hour records. This role works closely with payroll and human resources teams to resolve timekeeping discrepancies, support payroll processing activities, and provide assistance to employees and managers regarding payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working with timekeeping systems in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:• Monitor and maintain employee time and attendance records within the timekeeping system• Review and audit employee time entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations• Assist employees and managers with timekeeping corrections, approvals, and system-related inquiries• Collaborate with payroll and human resources teams to ensure accurate integration of timekeeping data into payroll processing• Generate and distribute timekeeping and attendance reports for internal audits and management review• Support onboarding and employee training related to timekeeping procedures and systems• Identify and escalate system issues, discrepancies, or policy concerns to appropriate stakeholders• Maintain confidentiality of employee records and ensure compliance with data protection standards• Support payroll operations during peak periods, including occasional evenings or weekends as requiredRequired Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent required• Minimum 1 year of experience in payroll, timekeeping, payroll administration, or human resources support• Experience working with timekeeping or payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Kronos, or SAP• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Excellent communication and customer service abilities• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:• Associate degree or higher preferred• Experience supporting payroll operations in a large multi-site organization• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws related to wage and hour compliance• Experience with Workday Timekeeping highly preferred• Bilingual English and Spanish skills preferredBenefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.Pay Range: $20/hr to $25/hr
