Timekeeping AssociatePosition SummaryThe Timekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of employee work hours, leave, and attendance data. This role supports payroll processing by maintaining timekeeping systems, resolving discrepancies, and providing exceptional customer service to employees and managers regarding time-related inquiries.Key ResponsibilitiesTimekeeping & Attendance ManagementMonitor and maintain employee time and attendance records within the timekeeping systemReview and audit time entries for:AccuracyCompletenessCompliance with company policies and labor regulationsResolve timekeeping discrepancies and ensure timely correctionsEmployee & Manager SupportAssist employees and managers with:Timekeeping issuesTimecard correctionsApprovalsSystem navigation and troubleshootingProvide responsive customer service regarding payroll and attendance inquiriesPayroll & Reporting SupportCollaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate integration of time data into payroll processingGenerate and distribute timekeeping reports for:Internal auditsCompliance reviewsManagement reportingIdentify and escalate system issues or policy violations to appropriate stakeholdersTraining & ComplianceSupport onboarding and training related to timekeeping procedures and systemsMaintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive dataEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable labor lawsRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree or higher preferred1 2 years of experience in:PayrollTimekeepingHR administrationTechnical SkillsFamiliarity with timekeeping systems such as:KronosADPWorkdaySAPProficiency in:Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft Office SuiteCore CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Workday Timekeeping systemsExperience working in a large, multi-site organizationKnowledge of:Federal labor lawsState wage and hour compliance regulationsBilingual in English and Spanish is a plusNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
