We are a mid-sized manufacturer with three U.S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. Identifies and rectifies unsafe conditions for themselves and others.Receives instructions, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.Operates standard millwright type equipment including but not limited to drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, pipe bender, stick welder, MIG welder, cutting torch, band saw, lifting/rigging equipment, man lift, forklift, and overhead crane. Supplies usual MW hand tools both metric and SAE.Tests, inspects, dismantles, repairs, replaces, or installs mechanical and hydraulic components, high or low-pressure piping, fittings, valves, cylinders, and fixtures, as required for maintenance and construction of pipelines for air, water, oil, gas, waste, etc.Answers trouble calls, uses troubleshooting ability to recognize and locate faulty equipment. Dismantles, cleans, adjusts, tests, and repairs all plant equipment. Suggests preventive maintenance procedures to prevent future occurrences.Safely performs blocking and rigging and ensures proper use of chain falls, come-a-longs and safety equipment.Using Maximo software, logs all job tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily.Performs other miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.Must be able to work rotating schedules, which may include nights and weekends, and work flexible hours and overtime as needed.Education & Work ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (Required)Passing score of 65% or higher on mechanical knowledge written assessment (Required)Successful completion of a practical skills assessment (Required)Post-secondary education (Preferred)Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred)Borusan Berg Pipe is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports a drug-free workplace.
