The IT Help Desk Technician provides hands-on and remote support to internal employees and clients on all company supported applications and systems. The position responds to helpdesk requests, troubleshoots technical issues, and performs preventative maintenance throughout all company locations.This role will primarily be based in our Scottsdale, AZ office. This role will require travel to surrounding Southern California offices from time to time.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the help desk case system and/or phone callsPerform basic troubleshooting on all case workTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issuesProvide quick resolution and excellent customer serviceRedirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnelProvide needed information on IT products or servicesKeep record of problems and their resolutionFollow-up with customers in a timely mannerProvide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improveMaintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshootingSuggest improvements on proceduresMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Up to 25% travelPrevious working experience as an IT Help Desk Technician for 2 yearsIn-depth knowledge of computer systemsHands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCustomer-oriented and patientSalary Range - $55,000MREIS is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with MREIS is subject to proven merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, gender, religion, national origin/ethnicity, disability status, veteran status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.
