This role oversees property operations, tenant relations, financial performance, risk management, and administrative functions while providing leadership and development to assigned team members. The Senior Property Manager partners with internal departments, tenants, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset value enhancement.Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Operations Oversee day-to-day property operations and maintain assets in excellent condition. Partner with site management teams to ensure building systems are properly maintained and tenant needs are addressed promptly. Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, including landscaping, janitorial, and site management services. Coordinate capital improvement projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce expenses, and enhance property performance. Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value and achieve ownership objectives. Ensure compliance with lender, investor, lease, and property-specific requirements.Tenant Relations Build and maintain positive tenant relationships through responsive and professional service. Resolve tenant concerns and coordinate service requests with internal teams and vendors. Support tenant retention efforts by promoting a high-quality occupancy experience.Financial Management Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting. Monitor financial performance, control expenses, and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyze operating results and recommend strategies to achieve budget and performance goals. Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely follow-up on action items.Risk Management & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, lease obligations, and applicable regulations. Identify and address operational risks, maintenance concerns, and compliance issues. Support emergency preparedness, business continuity, and crisis response initiatives.Administration Maintain accurate property records, contracts, reports, and documentation. Support internal reporting, approval processes, and cross-functional communication. Ensure administrative responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.Leadership & Team Development Supervise, mentor, and develop assigned team members. Establish performance expectations, provide coaching, and promote accountability. Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture centered on operational excellence.Qualifications Minimum seven (7) years of commercial and/or industrial property management experience. Experience managing multiple properties and complex operations preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Yardi or similar software experience preferred. Working knowledge of building automation, security, and access control systems. Strong communication, customer service, and relationship management skills. Solid financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting knowledge. Understanding of commercial lease administration and building systems. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven leadership and team development experience.Working Conditions Professional office environment with regular visits to commercial and industrial properties.
