Production Planner

Responsibilities: Develop and manage master production schedules to meet customer demand and shipping deadlines Analyze production capacity, materials, and labor requirements to optimize workflow Coordinate scheduling across fabrication, machining, assembly, and other operations Monitor and adjust schedules to address delays, bottlenecks, and changing priorities Oversee work-in-process (WIP) inventory and ensure alignment with production plans Maintain accurate master data within ERP systems and generate production reports Analyze inventory levels, resource utilization, and scheduling performance Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and inefficiencies Partner with Purchasing, Project Management, and Finance to align production and material plans Lead, coach, and develop planning team members while managing workload and performance Drive accountability for schedule adherence, data accuracy, and continuous improvement Support lean manufacturing initiatives and participate in inventory audits and variance analysis Required Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (APICS preferred) Experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations Strong knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (Kanban, Kaizen, VSM, etc.) Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Benefits: Dental insurance.
