Construction Intern - Colorado

Job Title: Construction InternLocation: Colorado Springs, COPay Range: $21 – $25 per hour (DOE)About The RoleWe are seeking a motivated Construction Intern to support our project teams on active construction projects between Denver and Colorado Springs markets. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world construction operations, project management processes, and jobsite activities. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in the construction industry.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Engineers and Project Managers with daily project tasksSupport documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and logsHelp review drawings and specificationsAssist with quantity takeoffs and basic cost trackingParticipate in jobsite walks and project meetingsSupport coordination with subcontractors and vendorsMaintain organized digital and physical project filesFollow all safety policies and jobsite proceduresQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related fieldStrong interest in the construction industryBasic understanding of construction drawings and terminology preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or Bluebeam is a plusStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentReliable transportation to job sites as neededSchedule & DurationFull-time or part-time availability (flexible based on academic schedule)Summer, semester, or year-round internship opportunities availableCompensation & BenefitsHourly pay: $21 – $25 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsPaid in accordance with Colorado wage and hour lawsOpportunity for academic credit (if applicable)Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced construction professionalsPotential for future full-time employmentEqual Opportunity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable Colorado employment laws.
