Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to restaurant standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS system for order processing and transactions. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving, food prep, and customer assistance. Uphold the restaurant’s standards for quick service in a fast-food environment while maintaining professionalism and efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or a quick-service restaurant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment within a restaurant setting. Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments involving serving or cashiering is beneficial but not mandatory.
