With a strong commitment to safety, innovation, and workforce development, they foster a collaborative environment where employees can grow their careers while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects.Position OverviewThe Project Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure projects by partnering closely with Project Managers and field teams. This position blends project operations, documentation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all requirements. Serving as a key point of contact for permitting and coordination activities, the Project Coordinator is responsible for tracking project progress, managing documentation, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively navigate complex permitting processes involving local jurisdictions, utility providers, and landowners.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Project Managers, field teams, and leadership to support project execution in alignment with OSHA and internal safety standardsCoordinate and support project meetings (daily, weekly, monthly), including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action itemsMaintain organized electronic project files using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project controls systems (e.g., EcoSys, B2W)Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and servicesPrepare and distribute work packages to field teams; maintain production trackers and audit timesheets for accuracySupport project closeout processes, including as-built documentation, punch list tracking, and lessons learnedResearch, prepare, and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agenciesServe as a liaison between internal teams, clients, utilities, regulatory agencies, and landownersTrack permit progress through approval and construction phases, ensuring compliance with all requirementsCoordinate land access agreements and support site access needs for field operationsIdentify and communicate regulatory impacts to project stakeholdersContribute to the continuous improvement of permitting workflows and project coordination processesManage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and clear communicationRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience in project coordination, construction, or project controlsAt least 1year of experience in administrative, permitting, or customer-facing rolesWorking knowledge of construction practices, project lifecycle phases, budgeting, and contract coordinationUnderstanding of permitting processes with experience working with municipalities, utilities, or regulatory agenciesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Access)Experience with project controls tools such as EcoSys, B2W, or similar systemsStrong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate project dataExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentSelf-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindsetPreferred QualificationsExperience in infrastructure, utilities, or construction environmentsProven ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups (clients, agencies, utilities, landowners)Experience supporting subcontractors, vendors, and material logisticsFamiliarity with facilitating project meetings and tracking deliverablesInterest in advancing into Project Management or related leadership rolesExperience improving processes, particularly in permitting and documentation workflowsStrong organizational skills with experience managing structured document systemsProfessional presence in external meetings with stakeholders and regulatory agenciesWork EnvironmentThis position is based onsite in Rancho Cucamonga, offering close collaboration with an experienced and supportive project team. The role provides hands-on exposure to both office-based project coordination and field operations, including occasional site visits.You will regularly interact with project managers, field personnel, and stakeholders while working within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
