These projects for this role are in Rancho Cucamonga and surroundingWe are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join a well established construction team with a strong backlog and long term project stability. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience leading complex public or commercial projects and wants to be part of a company with a couple hundred million dollars in active and upcoming work.This role is ideal for a construction leader with direct experience working for a Construction Manager, CM firm, or General Contractor. Candidates with fire station, municipal, civic, or larger commercial project experience will be especially attractive.Position OverviewThe PM or Sr. PM will be responsible for overseeing major construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, while working closely with internal leadership, field teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors. This person should be comfortable managing schedules, budgets, project execution, team coordination, and client communication on large scale work.The initial assignment is expected to run about 2 to 3 years, with a strong pipeline of future projects behind it. The company offers excellent long term stability, flexibility, and the chance to play a key role on meaningful projects.Key Responsibilities• Lead overall construction execution from planning through final completion• Manage project budget, schedule, subcontractor coordination, and reporting• Oversee project teams including Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers, and consultants• Serve as a main point of contact for owners, design teams, and key stakeholders• Drive project safety, quality, and compliance throughout all phases• Review contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and overall project documentation• Identify risks early and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward• Support preconstruction efforts, planning, logistics, and team strategy• Maintain strong communication across field and office operationsQualifications• 10+ years of construction management experience preferred• Must have experience working for a CM firm, Construction Management company, or General Contractor• Strong background managing public sector, fire station, civic, municipal, or commercial construction projects• Proven ability to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relationships• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills• Ability to work collaboratively with both field and office teamsPreferred Background• Fire station experience is highly preferred• Commercial project experience is also strongly valued• Experience on public works, municipal, civic, or other technically driven projects is a plus• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a mix of home, office, and jobsite presenceCompensation and Benefits• Base salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000, depending on experience• Full benefits package• Strong work flexibility with part time work from home, combined with onsite and office collaboration• Long term project stability with a 2 to 3 year initial assignment• Backlog in the couple hundred million dollar rangeWhy This Opportunity Stands OutThis is a chance to join a company with real project stability, strong leadership, and flexibility that is hard to find in the industry.
