A company is looking for a Technical Accessibility Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct accessibility audits and manual testing for client websites
Document accessibility issues and provide clear action items for development teams
Participate in client meetings to communicate findings and guide on accessibility requirements
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical web design or development role focused on accessibility
Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1+ success criteria and accessibility best practices
Proficiency in reviewing and hand-coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with automated accessibility tools and manual testing using screen readers
IAAP certification (CPACC, WAS, or CPWA) is preferred but not required
