Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.The Lockheed Martin Space Mission Integration Analysis & Assessment Team seeks an Associate Manager to lead a dynamic, growing team of Analysts and Engineers based in Littleton, CO. Our team provides physics-based technical analysis to evaluate the viability of future satellite constellations while also supporting the design of next-generation system-of-system architectures for national security, commercial, and civil space missions. The team supports IRAD, CRAD and capture efforts, as well as program execution. Your role will be to manage personnel and projects focused on producing client deliverables and developing related analytical tools, and will be responsible for the development of junior personnel through mentoring and career guidance.To be successful, you will need to have excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills and will demonstrate business acumen and an understanding of project management, staff planning, and space mission areas alongside a familiarity with modeling and mission analysis of satellite constellations. Time will be divided between directly participating in analysis campaigns and providing leadership for the Analysis & Assessment team. Personable, Full Spectrum Leadership will be essential in maintaining a positive, collaborative team environment as the team tackles the most challenging issues at the cutting edge of emerging space capabilities, often dealing with ambiguous requirements and shifting priorities.Key duties will include:Managing a team of analysts & engineers engaged in client-facing analysis campaigns and supporting tool development.Planning and overseeing the execution of analysis and tool development projects, to include technical effort estimation, resourcing, scheduling and deconflicting priorities to meet all commitments to our clientsFostering a positive and collaborative team environmentCoordinating with peer Leaders in Mission Integration, throughout Space, and across Lockheed Martin to achieve desired organizational and business outcomesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fieldProject leadership experience, to include planning, execution and reporting of technical effortsModeling & simulation experienceMust be a United States citizen and have an active Top Secret clearance prior to start (with a current investigation or CV date) and be willing / able to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceDesired Skills:Active TS/SCI clearance, and the ability and willingness to maintain itExperience with MATLAB and mission analysisExperience in the National Security Space or related classified mission areasFamiliarity with geolocation analysis, orbital mechanics, RF analysis and GN&CExperience as Control Account Manager (CAM).Experience collaborating with senior customers and stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to collaborate successfully between multiple technical and non-technical disciplinesDemonstrated self-motivation with a compelling desire to make a positive impact and the organizational/motivational skills to make it happenDemonstrated problem solving and analytical skills from a systems perspectiveSincere interest in growing as a Full Spectrum leader to enable broader team successStrong communication and teamwork skillsComfortable with ambiguity and shifting prioritiesTo promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin fosters a work environment that encourages big-picture thinking. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
