Design Integration Engineers
Overview
As a Design Integration Engineer you will contribute to Rolls-Royce’s Defence combat strategy by designing and validating subsystems and products across turbine, compressor, propulsor, and transmission domains. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, document product definitions, and verify complex electro-mechanical systems. The role blends Systems Engineering with hands-on integration to deliver robust, compliant solutions in highly regulated environments. This is a chance to influence product readiness from platform level to customer integration and service support.

ResponsibilitiesInvestigate problems using Systems Engineering principles across safety, quality, and customer requirementsUnderstand product interactions at platform, system, sub-system, component and manufacturing levelsDefine and document operational and lifecycle requirementsDefine and interpret product definition and documentationDemonstrate ability to engineer complex electro, fluid, thermal, or mechanical systemsIntegrate product systems_from platform to customer environment and back through sub-systems and componentsDevelop robust, optimized solutions while managing risk and adopting new technologySupport Validation and Verification activities and release-to-service justificationsSupport products in production and service
