V&V Programme Execution Engineer
Overview:
In this role you will drive Verification & Validation for Defence Rigs, focusing on experimental test rigs in Bristol. You will manage rig demonstrator design and fabrication, and coordinate technical requirements, cost and schedule estimation. You'll lead an Integrated Project Team, manage risk, and oversee supplier networks. You'll document results, run audits and reviews, and nurture stakeholder relationships. This position offers hands-on growth in gas turbine testing within a world-class defence engineering team. Responsibilities:
- Design & Make oversight for rig demonstrators
- Coordinate technical requirements including estimation, planning, cost and schedule management
- Lead Integrated Project Team (internal & external resources) with risk & mitigation handling
- Manage supply chains: proposals, management and integration
- Document and communicate technical issues, test results and inspections
- Oversee technical audits and project reviews & customer & stakeholder management
- Support development of new tools, testing techniques and procedures for rig management
Key requirements:
- 3+ years post-graduation experience
- Knowledge of gas turbines and engineering standards/processesProject management experience in planning, budgeting and scheduling
