Details Hospital Emergency Department setting with 10 rooms and 19 beds/chairs Patient ratio of 3:1 or 4:1 Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 13-week contract EMR: Medhost No on-call or floating requirements No 48-hour shifts Requirements Active TX or Compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC (AHA or ARC) — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start Minimum 2 years of ED experience required Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases required Travel nursing experience preferred Medhost EMR experience preferred Valid driver's license required Titers must be in hand at time of consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information Royal blue scrubs required RTO requests must be less than one week in duration and must be requested upfront Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-691803.
