We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and France.We're looking for a Claims Representative to join our Collectors Claims team, providing essential assistance to our customers during their times of need. Our team's core responsibility revolves around efficiently handling claims for customers who may have encountered damage or loss of their items during their return journey.In this role, your primary emphasis will be serving as the central liaison for our customers whenever they must navigate the complexities of a claim related to their collectibles. Your key responsibilities will involve guiding customers through the claims process through effective communication via both phone and email.You'll report to the Claims Manager and work onsite from our Santa Ana, CA office.What You'll Do:Receive and review insurance claims submitted by customersAssess coverage, liability and determine the validity of the claimMaintain detailed and accurate records of claim activities, correspondence and decisionsCommunicate with customers in a concise and professional mannerProvide timely updates on the status of claimsEnsure fair and equitable settlements within policy limitsProvide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concernsWork closely with internal stakeholders to process and advance claims forward in a timely mannerProvide accurate, valid, and complete information to our customers by using the department protocolsWho You Are:High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred2+ years of Customer Service experienceStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in teamsDetail oriented with excellent organization and communications skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to manage time while prioritizing multiple tasksProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite ProductsKnowledge of SalesForce would be an assetPhysical Requirements:Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of timeHand Use: Regular hand use for various tasksHearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructionsLifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 poundsPhone Answering: Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficientlySitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of timeHourly Rate:The reasonable estimated hourly range for this position is $21.00-$22.50.
