Senior Accountant - OAG

Senior AccountantBerryDunn is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Outsourced Accounting Practice Group. You will join a core team tasked with running multiple client engagements at any one time, and will perform duties such as Controller-to-go services which include maintaining the full general ledger, journal entries, budgets, and client consulting. This position is planned to sit out of our Manchester, NH office or remotely. You will report to the Managers and Senior Managers in the Outsourced Accounting Group. Travel Expectations: This role requires minimal travel, less than 10% per year. You WillGain comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements. Oversee, assist and review our professional team in preparing workpapers, financial statements (GAAP basis non-disclosure) and preparing engagement correspondence. Prepare complex workpapers and financial statements. Develop and maintain a great working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform outsourced accounting. Lead team members to ensure we complete project components and assignment tasks. Maintain expertise of accounting software, trends, technology to be able to train internal team and external clients. Actively participate in meetings as a member of the outsourced accounting team. Train, and mentor staff and interns on outsourced accounting processes and procedures. You HaveMinimum 4 years relevant experience Minimum BA/BS degree in Accounting A strong understanding of accounting concepts and business acumen Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment Ability to pick up new technology and software quickly Team player with a positive approach Creative problem-solving ability Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Compensation DetailsThe base salary range targeted for this role is $80,000 - $90,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
