Human Resource Generalist

Location: Canton, MI 48187Pay Rate: $28.00/hrShift: Day ShftJob Description: HR GeneralistOverviewThe HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll:Manage the Payclock system for timecard approvals.Generate timecard reports and send hours to staffing partners.Run payroll for direct exempt and non-exempt employees.Collaborate with the Payroll vendor.Ensure accurate deductions and tax calculations.Finance:Approve invoices from staffing partners.Benefits:Conduct Open Enrollment.Engage with the Benefits Vendor.Manage the exit process for benefits.Training:Work with the Safety Team on monthly safety meeting minutes.Collaborate with the vendor providing safety videos and policies.Support the creation and update of the annual training plan.Employee Relations:Assist with performance issues.Support safety initiatives.Handle terminations.Recruitment:Serve as the point of contact for the staffing partner.Manage candidates throughout the hiring process.Conduct interviews.Schedule interviews for technical teams.Onboard new hires, including HR paperwork.General HR:Maintain the colleague list.Serve as the Agency Point of Contact for safety.Manage the organizational chart.Develop and maintain HR policies and position descriptions.Coordinate satisfaction surveys.Create and maintain the holiday calendar.Core CompetenciesRepresent yourself and the company professionally and in alignment with core company values.Demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service, communication, and teamwork.Support departmental and organizational objectives and improvement efforts.Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and training requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably Business or HR-related, or equivalent HR experience.Proficiency in MS Office Applications and other word processing software.Ability to handle sensitive subjects objectively.Excellent organizational and communication skills.5+ years of experience working in an HR department.Familiarity with current ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards preferred.Knowledge of ISO-14001 and ISO 9001 requirements.Understanding of OSHA regulations.If interested, apply today#troy PandoLogic.
