Travel School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Bel Air, Maryland

Job Description Bachelor&#39;s degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from PreK through 5th grade in a dynamic school environment across two locations in the Baltimore area, MD. The role requires on-site work at Magnolia Elementary (three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and Prospect Mill Elementary (two days per week: Monday, Wednesday), serving a diverse caseload of young learners.Key Responsibilities:Provide speech and language support to students, helping them improve communication skills essential for academic and social success.Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in team meetings.Ensure compliance with all state and district guidelines, including House Bill 486 district background check and fingerprinting requirements.Qualifications:Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.Experience working with children in educational settings, preferably within PreK-5th grade.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with school personnel.Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites seamlessly.Willingness to undergo district-specific credentialing and background checks.Location and Schedule:Positions located in the Baltimore area, MD, at two school sites.Part-time schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week (T/W/R at one site and M/W at the other).Contract duration from February 16, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with the possibility of extension into summer school (four weeks in July 2026).Benefits include working in a supportive educational environment with opportunities to make a tangible difference in student lives.Qualified candidates interested in this rewarding role are encouraged to apply promptly to participate in pre-screening interviews.
