Associate Housekeeper Support Services

Job Summary: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment across healthcare facilities in the Midwest region. Provide exceptional support by performing non-clinical tasks with professionalism and hospitality, serving patients, staff, visitors, and vendors.Essential Responsibilities:Housekeeping: Utilize a seven-step cleaning process to ensure optimal cleanliness and safety, including dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, bathroom and floor cleaning, and inspection of assigned areas.Complete unscheduled tasks as directed and replenish room supplies.Perform detailed cleaning of walls, windows, carpets, furniture, blinds, and curtains.Deliver supplies and medical records to satellite locations.Inspect work to maintain high standards.Laundry and Pack Room: Process clean linens by sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing according to policies.Maintain linen room cleanliness and conduct inventories.Fill linen orders for satellite sites and document usage.Inspect surgical linens for quality, mend or mark as needed, perform liquid barrier tests, and pack components per case specifications.Combined Duties: Maintain equipment cleanliness and report repairs.Use chemicals and tools correctly and safely.Performance Standards: Meet attendance, training, uniform, and departmental meeting requirements.Follow department standards for learning and performance evaluation.Guest Relations and Teamwork: Exhibit courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.Support team goals through cooperation, communication, and initiative.Assist peers and encourage skill development.Compliance and Safety: Report any abuse, neglect, or safety concerns promptly.Protect patient and staff privacy.Follow infection control, emergency preparedness, and safety policies.Education and Experience: Minimum of eighth-grade education required.High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous related experience is a plus.Work Shift: Second shift, full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
