Associate Housekeeping Technician - Certified Surgical Cleaning Tech Preferred

Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control protocols and organizational standards.Key Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established procedures.Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste materials.Comply with all infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department objectives.Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Previous experience in a related cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous.Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience.Work Schedule: Full-time, first shift (8 AM - 4 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays.This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
