We are seeking a Digital Political Content Creator to join our team in Edison, NJ, supporting the communications and branding efforts of Democratic candidates and committees across Middlesex County and beyond.This role is pivotal in shaping the digital presence and messaging for local and countywide campaigns. You will collaborate closely with campaign teams, consultants, and leadership to amplify key messages and events, ensuring consistent branding and impactful content across all digital platforms.Key responsibilities include:Manage and execute online branding and messaging across digital channelsOversee party social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and publishingCreate original static, animated, and video content tailored to campaign needsWrite concise, on-message copy for posts, graphics, and digital adsSupport broader communications strategy and messaging priorities countywide and alongside local and legislative campaignsMaintain consistent branding, tone, and messaging across all platformsProvide real-time event coverage (live-posting) for events, conventions, and Election DayPromote Democratic candidates, elected officials, caucuses, and committeesDevelop branding toolkits, graphics, and messaging guidance for local campaignsCoordinate with campaigns and consultants to amplify key messages and eventsAssist with photography, video capture, and content archivingDraft and edit digital statements, email blasts, and website updatesPerform other duties as assigned to support communications and campaign objectivesRequirements5+ years of experience in digital marketing or related fieldHands-on experience creating and editing video content for digital and social channelsProficiency with Canva and CapCut for graphic and video content creationExperience managing content and campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, and YouTubeExperience with Facebook Ads (Meta Ads), WordPress, and MailchimpWorking knowledge of local politics in New Jersey and experience creating digital content for Democratic candidates, committees, or progressive political organizationsProfessional fluency in EnglishAuthorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipAble to travel statewide within New Jersey for events and out-of-office content captureHas reliable transportation and access to a laptop and cellphone for workAble to work irregular hours including evenings and weekendsBenefitsCompetitive salary of $80,000-$95,000 (W2)Healthcare stipend of $350/month for individual coveragePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and growthCollaborative, mission-driven work environmentOn-site role in Edison, NJ with some flexibility
