NFPC employs a highly skilled and versatile workforce of engineers, trades people and support personnel who specialize in advanced engineering, castings, and precision machining.\nNFPC is a low volume, large size, sand-cast foundry that primarily pours non-ferrous alloys from induction furnaces. Description\nThe Management Analyst develops, analyzes, evaluates, and recommends improvements to management policies and practices, organizations, functions, operating procedures, and manpower utilization affecting civilian personnel within NFPC. The incumbent serves as the NFPC liaison on various support functions and retains a reference library of instructions and guidelines to make recommendations on issuance of local directives whenever deemed appropriate.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nPerforms organizational structure, workforce actions and studies on procedural and relationship issues, to identify, coordinate and develop improvements in efficiency.\nCreates, manages, and analyzes automated reporting systems and develops a variety of reports and briefings.\nExamines performance, cost, progress, efficiency and use of resources against established or developed metrics, goals, and performance criteria.\n\nQualifications Required for the Position\n\nWorking knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative and technical programs. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel or other software analysis tools.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate with various levels at the site and relay information to generate improvement activity.\nAbility to collaborate and coordinate with staff members in various departments as needed so they are aware of their expected duties from initiation to completion.\nAbility to organize, plan, coordinate and execute a project. Attention to detail is essential.\nKnowledge of NFPC organization, Navy instructions, notices, guidelines on personnel, manpower management is a plus.\nBachelor's degree preferred\n\nSecurity Clearance / Background Check required.
