Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Operations: Assemble heavy equipment using hand, electric, and air-powered tools, ensuring all components fit correctly and meet quality standards.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine assembly instructions and specifications.
Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and tests on assembled equipment to verify adherence to design specifications and operational performance.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve assembly issues by adjusting components or notifying supervisors for additional resources.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including engineers and other assemblers, to ensure efficient workflow and address any assembly challenges.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in mechanical assembly, particularly with heavy equipment, is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various hand and power tools; ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Physical Ability: Capability to lift heavy parts and equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
