We are proud & honored to provide these services.Overview Of PositionFEDITC is seeking a System Administrator – Level II to work in Dayton OH area, to support the deployment, maintenance, and security of enterprise IT infrastructure within a DoD environment. This position is responsible for administering server operating systems, ensuring system availability, and maintaining compliance with cybersecurity requirements.A United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, and maintain server operating systems and infrastructure components. Administer day-to-day operations, ensuring system integrity, availability, and security. Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Execute routine system backups and recovery procedures. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues across infrastructure platforms. Maintain and enforce system security in compliance with DoD and NIST standards. Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to maintain system compliance. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintenance guides, and knowledge base documentation. Support vulnerability management and continuous monitoring efforts. Collaborate with cybersecurity and network teams to ensure secure system operations. Provide technical support and guidance to junior administrators as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsExperience/Skills:Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in system administration. Strong experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments. Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Experience with system monitoring tools and backup solutions. Understanding cybersecurity best practices and system hardening. Familiarity with DoD RMF, STIGs, and security compliance requirements. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.CertificationsIAT Level II certificationCE (Computing Environment) Associate-level certification (professional level preferred) relevant to supported technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, VMware), as approved by the COR.ClearanceMust be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).FEDITC, LLC. is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
