Perfect for individuals looking for evening hours and a hands-on role designed for long-term success.Position Title: Operations Assistant - Night Loading (7pm start time Sunday - Thursday)Department: OperationsPosition reports to: Warehouse ManagerPrimary purpose and function of position: Pick orders nightly for the next day's delivery. Occasionally repack broken goods into clean new packages.Have more control over your income: the more cases you pick, the more you make!Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Build sideload, draught, bulk trucks as well as stage product Evaluate, clean and repack product into saleable casesEnsure proper repack standards are being met and notify the night warehouse manager of potential issuesRepack, sort, organize, clean, verify and track repacked product as neededStack and separate empty kegs and palletsCommunicate with supervisors and co-workers in a courteous and professional mannerRestock all product pick locations, including floor, static, and carton flow rackingClean warehouse as directedMaintain warehouse product rotation standardsAdhere to and follow all safety processes and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED certificate requiredNight loading experience preferredHighly self-motivated with a positive attitudeHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work with minimal supervision as well as part of the night loading teamWilling to be forklift certifiedAbility to meet physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to: repetitively handling cases of beer, reaching above head height, climbing, bending, twisting, squatting and kneelingAbility to frequently lift, carry, push or pull package product weighing up to 165 poundsRegular and reliable attendance requiredRequired to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays as neededAbility to pass a required pre-employment physical, background and drug screeningWHY CHOOSE GREY EAGLE DISTRIBUTORS?Who we are:Grey Eagle Distributors is the largest Anheuser-Busch beer distributor in Missouri and one of the largest in the Midwest.
