Must-Haves:At least 5 years of experience in Pro-Fee Plastic Surgery OR CodingExperience Coding for an Academic Teaching FacilityCPC Certification is Required (CCS can replace this requirement)Must have experience working on the cutting-edge medical technology (unlisted CPT codes, highly complex coding, etc.)Plusses:Surgery Oncology experienceCertified Professional Coder in Dermatology (CPCD)Day-to-Day:Insight Global is searching for a contract Pro-Fee Plastic Surgery OR Coder for one of our largest healthcare clients in the Southeast.This coder will be working directly in the Plastic Surgery OR work queue. There should have experience working with flaps, breast reconstruction, panniculectomies, hand cases, breast reductions, maxillofacial, and wound prep.This facility is a trauma one facility that is heavy on research and the cutting edge. You can expect highly complex and difficult coding within this role, this is not just a simple coding position.
