Software Engineering Manager
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role:
- Contribute to the entire stack of a managed streaming data service, including APIs, workflows, and the core platform.
- Make contributions to open-source projects, with code changes released back to the community.
- Design and build new features, focusing on performance improvements and scalability.
- Investigate and prototype new technologies to enhance the service.
- Collaborate with engineers to build a large-scale cloud service.
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Ideally, an in-depth understanding of streaming data technologies like Apache Kafka. What's On Offer
