This position is eligible for a $500.00 hiring/retention bonus!$100.00 Monthly Perfect Attendance AwardHours: M-Th 6:00am-3:15pm; F 6:00am-12:00pm$15.50/hr and up based on experiencedSummary: Perform detailed inspection on all products including line inspections, and ESD monitoring.Responsibilities/Principal Duties:Recognize and read values, polarity and orientation of thru-hole and SMT components i.e. capacitors, resistors, transistors, IC’s etc.A complete understanding of the IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.Utilize inspection-gauging equipment to meet customer and IPC standards.Identify and read customer supplied assembly drawing for referencing component polarity, orientation, and reference designators.Utilize a bill of materials to identify customer part numbers for inspection requirements and values.Periodic spot checks to ensure that all personnel are following ESD procedures. Can identify SMT and thru-hole packages including MELF’s, SOT’s, PLCC’s etc.Interpersonal Skills:Takes responsibility for the quality of one’s individual workDemonstrates accuracy and neatness in their workCooperative and dependable, highly motivated and trustworthyRespects and works effectively with fellow team membersWill notify team leader if team is not following quality processesWill present new ideas and improvements to team leaderQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: Previous 2- 4 years’ electronics assembly inspection experience is preferredPhysical/Cognitive Requirements: Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment, with frequent contact with others; Requires prolonged standing, sitting, frequent bending, stooping, and stretching; Manual dexterity is crucial in the placement and handling of small components. Good eyesight is necessary for performing detailed tasks.
