Senior Procurement Associate – ManufacturingLocation: Plano, TX (Onsite)Duration: 11 Months ContractInterview Process: One Interview OnlyPay Rate: $30/hr - $31/hr on W2 Job SummaryGenpact is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Associate to support procurement and sourcing operations for a leading elevator manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, procurement operations, and manufacturing supply chain management. Required Experience3+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Strategic SourcingExperience supporting manufacturing operations is requiredEngineering degree preferred ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers for mechanical, electrical, electronics, and structural components.Manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and convert them into Purchase Orders (POs) within ERP systems.Ensure uninterrupted material availability to support manufacturing and new product development.Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and customs compliance.Resolve supplier delivery delays, shortages, and quality issues.Drive cost-saving initiatives through supplier consolidation, localization, and value engineering.Partner with engineering teams for alternate material and supplier development.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating pricing and commercial terms.Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Quality teams to support manufacturing operations.Support supplier audits, quality improvements, and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
