🚨 Now Hiring: Human Resources Manager (Confidential Client)📍 Locations: Los Angeles & Irvine, CA💼 Full-Time | ExemptI’m partnering with a respected AMLAW firm to identify a skilled Human Resources Manager to join their team. This is a high-impact role supporting firm-wide HR operations and working closely with leadership.Position OverviewReporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role will lead a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and leave administration. The HR Manager will also contribute to firm-wide initiatives and help drive a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.Key Responsibilities• Apply and ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws• Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and staff on performance management and development• Manage employee relations matters and disciplinary processes• Oversee leave programs (FMLA, medical, parental, disability) and benefits coordination• Support recruiting efforts including interviewing and candidate selection• Collaborate on HR initiatives (compensation, DEI, talent management, HRIS, etc.)• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers across the organization• Maintain HR records, support payroll processes, and ensure policy compliance• Conduct exit interviews and support employee engagement and retention effortsQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)• 5+ years of HR experience (law firm or professional services strongly preferred)• Deep knowledge of California employment law• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills• Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce is a plus)• Ability to work with all levels of leadership in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Details• Occasional travel required• Collaborative, team-oriented environment• Opportunity to influence firm-wide HR strategyHybrid schedule: 4+4 hybrid schedule (Wednesday’s + 4 additional days per month)Compensation💰 $120,000 – $160,000 (based on experience, skills, and market factors)If you’re interested in learning more—or know someone who would be a great fit—feel free to message me directly.
