Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts (up to $5,000 for childcare) Tuition discounts & reimbursement 401(k) with company match Mileage Reimbursement Generous PTO Access to wellness and discount programs such asNoom,SkinIO(Virtual SkinCancer Screening), childcare, gym memberships, pet insurance,travelandentertainment discounts and more!*Benefits may vary by employment statusResponsibilitiesAs a Home Health SpeechLanguage Pathologist, You will: Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty,determiningthe need for continued therapy services Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects oftherapeuticexercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions Documentappropriate progressand clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy andsubmitvisit documentation per Agency policyQualificationsGraduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE Current Occupational Therapist licensure in State and American Heart Association CPR certificationrequired; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire Two (2) years of experience in adult occupational therapy, home health experience preferred Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; physical therapy skills per competency checklistAbout our Line of BusinessAdoration Home Health and Hospice, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides quality and compassionate services in the comfort of home, providing support for patients, families, and caregivers in their time of need.
