Nephrology Physician

Full-time BC/BE Nephrologist to join a hospital-based Nephrology practice Established, well-regarded group with 2 physicians; adding a 3rd Average 15 clinic patients per day Hospital rounds with 15 consults daily Strong Hospitalist program manages all admissions Call rotation Q3, one week at a time; paid $1,000 per 24-hour shift ( 75 shifts/year) Annual base salaryplus wRVU incentive Typical physician exceeds RVU threshold early in the year 216 clinic days per year (FTE) Generous compensation package including relocation and sign-on bonus Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; Fellowship trained in Nephrology Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis experience preferred Must have or be eligible for California medical license $20,000 relocation assistance and $60,000 sign-on bonus Eligible for PSLF and loan repayment up to $100,000 (max $10,000/year for 10 years) Comprehensive benefits: malpractice, CA license, DEA, and certifications covered $3,000 annual CME allowance 80% employee health insurance paid, 50% for dependents; dental and vision included Three retirement plans, two fully employer-funded Vibrant college town of 100,000, voted Americas Place to Live by Forbes magazine Located north of Sacramento, a couple of hours from San Francisco Four mild seasons and abundant outdoor recreation Easy access to Lake Tahoe, Mt.
