Professional and Commercial Equipment and Supplies Merchant WholesalersBusiness Schools and Computer and Management TrainingMuseums, Historical Sites, and Similar InstitutionsBusiness Support ServicesSpecial Food ServicesLogan Elite is partnering with a well-established engineering and manufacturing organization to identify a detail-oriented and technically proficient Estimator to join their team.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing complex projects, collaborating across departments, and working directly with customers to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom-engineered systems.Location: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the office)Candidates should reside within 60 miles of the Harrisburg, PA areaEmployment Type: Full-Time or ContractKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates and quotations based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.Review RFQs and technical documentation to determine labor, material, production, installation, and support costs.Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management to develop accurate pricing.Serve as a client-facing contact for estimate-related questions and clarifications.Document assumptions, risks, exclusions, and revisions within proposals.Maintain estimating records, pricing databases, and historical cost data.Support proposal preparation and continuous improvement of estimating tools and templates.Manage estimates like projects, including coordination, research, and development of pricing sheets and contract support materials.Develop an understanding of procurement contracts, insurance terms, and project workflows.Qualifications3+ years of estimating experience in engineered products, manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and estimating software.Experience managing multiple deadlines and workflows.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with AI tools to streamline tasks is a plus.Preferred ExperienceIndustrial controls, electrical systems, automation, or custom-engineered equipment.Procurement contracts, insurance terms, and project costing methodologies.Client-facing communication and proposal development.
