California Licensed Regulatory Attorney
To support a national healthcare organization, the part-time California Licensed Regulatory Attorney will provide legal counsel on regulatory matters, advise hospital operations, and manage diverse legal questions related to patient care delivery and compliance in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:Draft and review training materials, legal documents, contracts, and policies
Conduct legal research and analyze complex regulatory issues, providing findings to in-house attorneys
Advise hospital teams on compliance matters impacting care delivery and assess legal risksRequired qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active Bar license in California, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Georgia, Nevada, or Hawaii
3-5+ years of regulatory experience in healthcare settings
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid compliance
Experience supporting hospital operations and clinical environments
