TEMP Strategic Consulting Principal Consultant

Program Manager — Clinical Imaging (TEMP) Location: Plano, Texas, United States Role Summary: The Program Manager — Clinical Imaging is responsible for the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs within a large‑scale healthcare environment. The role requires managing cross‑functional collaboration and interdependencies across multiple high‑priority projects. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Program Oversight: Lead program‑level planning, interact with executive management, and align clinical imaging initiatives with organizational goals. Portfolio Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple information systems projects, minimizing the impact of software, hardware, or network changes. Governance: Create program plans, management tools, and reporting capabilities; define objectives, scope, and deliverables to ensure strategic alignment. Dependency Management: Manage complex interdependencies between projects to ensure smooth collaboration and prevent resource conflicts or delays. Technical Delivery & Clinical Workflows: Lead the implementation of a net‑new PACS and Voice Recognition/Dictation system; oversee DICOM migration; manage Biomed teams to re‑point modalities (MRI, CT, X‑Ray); lead infrastructure initiatives for enterprise storage solutions; direct deployment of high‑performance server environments; ensure high‑availability, scalability, and disaster‑recovery readiness. Project & Resource Management: Manage groups of internal exempt employees, matrixed staff, and contractors; lead cross‑functional teams and ensure resources are appropriately assigned; oversee requirements gathering, time estimating, schedule development, budget management and status reporting; perform complex issue resolution and contingency planning; mentor team members. Required Skills & Experience Clinical Imaging Expertise: Extensive experience in Radiology PACS conversions, data migration, and Biomed modality integration; provider‑side implementation experience is required. System Delivery: Proven experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large‑scale, multi‑platform environment. SDLC Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle. Risk Assessment: Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology products and clinical business functions. People Management: Proven track record of team building and managing matrixed resources. Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to remain flexible and exercise sound judgment in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities. Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues for executive‑level stakeholders and business partners. Education & Certifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Required: PMP or PMI Certification. Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree.
