Software Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer for an on-site contract in Austin, Texas.Responsibilities:The Full Stack Software Developer will design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications and reporting solutions under the direction of the IT Applications Director. This role works closely with business stakeholders, architects, UX designers, business and systems analysts, and cross-functional IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. Responsibilities include designing and developing applications using .NET Core, C#, React JS, JavaScript, SQL Server, Oracle, and Power BI; implementing cloud-based solutions using Azure; developing APIs, dashboards, reports, and reporting solutions; migrating legacy applications and data; troubleshooting and resolving application issues; creating and executing unit, integration, and system tests; supporting CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps processes; maintaining technical documentation; collaborating on solution architecture and technical design; ensuring application performance, reliability, accessibility, and security; assisting with project planning and estimation; and providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers while supporting Agile software development initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:11 years of experience in full stack development using .NET Core, C#, React JS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.11 years of experience with SQL Server, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.11 years of experience working with Oracle, including legacy data migration to SQL Server.11 years of extensive experience with Power BI, including dashboards, paginated reports, and data transformations.11 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including application services, storage, deployment, and security.11 years of experience transforming and migrating legacy data to support new enterprise solutions.11 years of experience converting legacy applications to modern web-based solutions.11 years of proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools.11 years of knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508.11 years of experience with Oracle data migration.11 years of demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:8 years of previous experience migrating data within government or regulated environments.8 years of previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.What We Offer:Sistema offers competitive pay and solid benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
