Location:Brooklyn Center, MN(this is a HYBRID schedule requiring immediate and consistent time on-site in MN)
Pay Rate:$70,000-$80,000

Overview:
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a fast-paced, high-growth environment supporting both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, along with month-end close activities. This role is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, is comfortable in a dynamic setting, and brings a strong understanding of transactional accounting and financial accuracy.
Responsibilities
Own the full accounts receivable cycle including invoicing, billing, cash application, and account reconciliation
Manage collections activities, monitor aging reports, and follow up on past due balances
Process vendor invoices accurately and perform three-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
Participate in the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Maintain prepaid schedules and support accurate amortization
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Partner cross-functionally to resolve billing issues and improve processes
Support audits, reporting, and ad hoc accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to AR, AP, and month-end close
Experience managing collections and working directly with customers on past due balances
Hands-on ERP experience required (Acumatica strongly preferred)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
Solid understanding of accruals, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
