Registered Professional Land Surveyor

RPLS – Dallas, TXPosition OverviewA growing surveying and engineering firm is seeking a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to support a variety of survey projects in Dallas. This role will focus on project oversight, survey review, coordination with field and office staff, and delivering high-quality survey products for clients across multiple sectors.The ideal candidate is technically strong, collaborative, and comfortable managing projects from initial scope through final deliverables.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee survey projects from start to finishReview and certify survey deliverablesCoordinate with field crews, CAD technicians, and project managersSupport boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and land development surveysReview plats, easements, title commitments, and legal descriptionsPerform QA/QC on survey data and final drawingsMaintain project schedules and client communicationEnsure compliance with Texas surveying regulations and company standardsAssist with mentoring junior survey staff as neededQualificationsActive Texas RPLS license required3+ years of experience as an RPLS or Project SurveyorStrong understanding of Texas land surveying practices and regulationsExperience with Civil 3D and survey-related softwareAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience coordinating with both field and office teamsPreferred ExperienceLand development survey experienceCommercial and residential project experienceConstruction staking and as-built survey experienceLeadership or mentoring experienceClient-facing project management experienceCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryBonus opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company contributionPTO and paid holidaysCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesWork EnvironmentOffice-based role in DallasCollaborative and team-oriented cultureOpportunity to work on diverse and growing projects throughout the DFW market
