Hematology/Oncology - Southeastern New Mexico This Multi Specialty Group consists of 11 Full Time and 4 Part Time physicians with 3 additional signed to join in 2023. Call is usually telephone call. They leave it up to the individual provider to choose whether they go to the hospital to see patients. Call schedule is 1 week in 3 weeks and the Nursing staff is first call for Oncology on weekends. They have a robust support staff. There are 2 certified medical assistants per MD, and they have 6-8 OCN & ONS certified infusion nurses on staff Patients per day = 18-22. This is based on their own 2-1 count - New consults count as 2, follow ups as 1 (Example - 10 new consults = 20) The group is growing and that s why they re hiring The salary is above MGMA with lucrative bonus structure Additional benefits - Sign on bonus, relocation allowance, 6 paid Holidays, 5 weeks PTO and 1 week for CME, CME allowance annually, discounted gym membership, 401K after 1st year with contribution not requiring employee match, health, dental, vision, short term disability. On in-patient and out-patient basis, write and administer chemotherapy orders, perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, review smears and refer patients for radiation oncology and surgery services as needed.
